In a relaxed, friendly group setting, campers will learn a positive approach to solo singing.

Campers will learn exercises to strengthen the voice, increase vocal range and about singing in tune. Activities also include how to find pitches on a keyboard, understand rhythmic notation, how to mark music and how to learn a song.

Develop Artistic Discipline at
STAR SKILLS BOOT CAMP

In groups structured according to vocal age, Boot Camp performers will get to work on aspects of their craft that seldom get addressed prior to collegiate study.

Recruits will experience what it is like to be a professional performer, with a “no excuses” environment. Drill Sergeants will teach exercises, assign and coach repertoire, and build Recruits’ technique and confidence through Master Classes and Activities.

The Showcase Performance at the end of each Boot Camp will be held at 7:30 p.m. for family, friends and neighbors. Boot Camp Grads will present scenes from Opera, Operetta, Musical Theater, Plays and more!
